The Importance of Thinking Differently
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”
Hi everyone,
I am starting to realize that you are reading my blogs! It is always pleasantly surprising to me when someone gives me an email or a call to say that they are following TinyEYE’s efforts to improve access to speech therapy services – we are trying to strengthen the circle of care around every person who needs help. My blogs have been more like a diary for me…a record of our research, a spill of my struggles, a smile about my own children, and a reminder to myself why it is essential that we continue this quest. I have lived by the saying, “If I stand alone for these children, then alone I shall still stand”. With my eyes strongly focused on my vision and my nose glued to my efforts, I have never stopped to look up and notice that others were walking along with us. Thank you. I find such strength in that.
Have you ever felt like you stood alone in your thoughts, your dreams, your values? Have you ever believed in an idea – but no one seemed to believe in you? My brother recently sent me a video from YouTube. Please watch it – you will see why the world needs you to be you.
