“Whenever I found out anything remarkable, I have thought it my duty to put down my discovery on paper, so that all ingenious people might be informed thereof.”
~Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (Dutch Biologist, 1632-1723)
Hello Everyone,
One of my colleagues was browsing the ASHA Leader Online and came across Jeanne Juenger’s paper, Telepractice in the Schools. Jeanne provides a concise overview of aspects related to telepractice, such as technology, student selection, and documentation. For me, a her statement that sums up the reality of today’s telepractice is as follows:
Telepractice offers greater opportunities to serve students,
enables real-time collaboration with remote colleagues, and boosts student learning
(Polovoy, 2008; Luecke, 2004; Robinson et al., 2009).
