Every year, 443 million school days are missed due to lack of clean water and sanitation. Many children are walking 3 hours a day to the closest water source – often a swamp or pond full of dangerous bacteria. This laborious and time-consuming task prevents them from having the time and opportunity to learn in school. Through charity:water, TinyEYE helped bring clean drinking water to Kenya. Now, children who were spending all their days gathering dirty, dangerous water are able to spend time attending school. They have a future.
