I came across a recent news article which discusses how Telehealth is growing in importance.
The news piece showcases various examples, including one where a doctor from Edmonton, Alberta performed a check on a pregnant woman from Inuvik, Northwest Territories. If you check Google Maps, you’ll see that’s a distance of over 3,000 KM or 1864 miles! The check-up took 10 minutes thanks to the Telehealth system!
