Language Simplification – Phonological Processes

When your child is learning to speak, he or she will start with a simplified version of our speech. They do this because they are still learning how to coordinate their tongue, lips, jaw and palate to make the speech sounds that adults make. You need to learn step by step – you don’t simply sit down and play a concerto without many years of practice.
